Clare - Owner Operator 

Clare began Chocolate in 2006, She is a very experienced stylist with atleast 30+ years of hairdressing under her belt! She specialises in precision womens haircuts, men’s cuts and anything a bit different! Clare loves cutting funky haircuts and having a bit of fun

The daughter of Owner/Operator Clare - Morgan has been at Chocolate since 2012 beginning her apprenticeship after spending some time as a Salon Assistant and deciding to follow in Clare’s footsteps. 

Morgan is into all types of colour, particularly blondes and brights. She loves cutting & styling long hair and is always keen to do some fun colouring. As well as this Morgan is also the salon trainer, currently training Brooke in year 1 hairdressing. 

Brooke - First Year Apprentice 

Brooke is our newest team member! Starting her apprenticeship in May 2021. Brooke is enjoying getting into salon life and learning fast. She is currently perfecting Blowaving and getting ready to get into her basic colouring. 

 

Anna - Salon Assistant 

Anna works with us two days a week in the afternoon, you’ll find her at the basin or chasing around the seniors trying to keep the salon in one piece when it gets a bit wild! 

Esme - Salon Assistant 

Esme is our newest assistant, she is enjoying learning the ropes following in Anna’s footsteps! 

Mayana - Salon Assistant 

Mayana is our assistant two days a week and has been with us for the last 2-3 years. Mayana is always making us laugh and keeping the backroom (and the rest of us!) in check 

Russell & Roger - Salon Dog’s 

Russ & Rogy are the resident dogs at Chocolate. Russell is Morgan’s 8 year old Griffon/pug he’s a big softy and very tolerantly puts up with Rogy hanging off him at all times. Rogy is our 1.5 year old baby Griffon! The smallest cutest thing you’ve ever seen - don’t let him fool you though he is a little rat at times
